A day in the life of a Founder/CEO changes every single day. My days are filled with meetings, networking events, panel discussions, manufacturer visits, photoshoots, and days of just working behind the scenes on business plans. I live by my calendar so I can keep track of whether I’m expected at a speaker at a function or a networking event.
To be a successful entrepreneur you must a high level of self-discipline and humility. Being your own boss means you call all the shots but also means no one will hold you accountable but you. Start setting small goals and get in the habit of accomplishing them. Starting a company means you will be dealing with a lot of hurdles you will have no idea how to overcome. You have to learn how to ask for and receive help. Finally, network your face off. Show up and shake hands because your network is your net worth and you’re never too young or too inexperienced to start.
Book The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life & Business by Charles Duhigg.I included an inspirational quote from Rupi Kaur which I love.
