Our Events
Career and Leadership Summit for High School Girls provides young women with an immersive experience spending the day with girls and women who are just like them. Attendees are introduced to 20+ career paths and learn skill sets necessary for success in school, career and life. Through the talks and breakout sessions, they are introduced to the ways to navigate the world around them so that they can accomplish their goals. They have the opportunity to not only learn about these career possibilities that exist but, more importantly, they are able to see themselves in those roles because they are seeing/meeting/talking with the women in those careers that look like them.

High School Club members have a safe place to develop and exercise those soft skills necessary for success. Leadership. Public speaking. Advocacy. Business acumen. The club creates a community of learning for the girls on how to be supportive of one another and not competitive with one another. How to use their voice and understand their worth.

Flash Mentoring is our informal, virtual mentoring program. Young women can review the Mentor Roster and sign up to chat with the mentors of their choice. Most sessions are one-time meetings, providing opportunities to learn about careers, alma maters, or receiving assistance in various areas like resume writing. Participants gain greater control in selecting their own mentor and learn the value of having multiple mentors for specific purposes.
