Beth Mund – Founder, Stellar Communications
Beth Mund is a former NASA Public Affairs Officer and International Space Station Communications Officer. While her knowledge of space runs deep, Beth’s passion for sharing the stories of those whose contributions make space exploration possible is what drives her. She founded her company, Stellar Communications, to share these very stories through the Casual Space Podcast. Each episode educates, entertains, and inspires as she features illustrators, scientists, historians, authors, astronauts, engineers, talented space enthusiasts, and more.
In 2023, she founded and launched The STORIES of Space Project, a nonprofit organization, which encourages storytellers of all ages to share their space narrative. Currently, 300+ stories are in orbit on the International Space Station! Beth believes that ‘space is for everyone’ and makes it her mission to inspire the next generation of explorers and enthusiasts through both STORIES of Space and Casual Space.
Another very interesting fact about Beth is that she was an Analog Astronaut at the HI-SEAS research facility on a Mars simulation mission with a crew of 5 other incredible women!
