The Podcast ~ S1 E5 ‘The Alpha Female: His & Hers Perspective’

“There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the true essence of beauty.” ~ Steve Maraboli

Many alpha women find it hard to have relationships, both romantic as well as female friendships. Those strong characteristics that are viewed so highly for men (strong, confident, determined) are big negatives when women exhibit them. Often these women are called a bitch. Research actually shows that there is an inverse relationship between likeability and those traits for women. The stronger, more confident she is, the more successful and powerful she becomes, the less she is liked by her peers.

In this episode, we have a his and hers perspective on the alpha female. We discuss what it’s like to be an alpha female and to be in a relationship with her.
