Hack the Jobsite
Free Hackathon for High School Young Women
Imagine the Jobsite of the Future
Hack the Jobsite is a free, one-day experience where high school young women come together to explore careers, build confidence, and solve real-world challenges. No prior experience required.
Participants work in teams to imagine what a safer, more inclusive, and more innovative jobsite could look like. With support from college mentors and women professionals, students brainstorm ideas, collaborate with peers, and present their solutions at the end of the day.
This is not about having the “right” answers. It’s about learning how to think, lead, and work as a team.

- Looking to try something new in a supportive environment
- Unsure of what they want to do after high school—and that’s okay
No Experience Needed: A Beginner-Friendly Innovation Challenge
You don’t need to know anything about construction, engineering, or the trades to participate.
For Parents & Guardians
Hack the Jobsite is designed to:
- Build confidence and communication skills
- Expose students to real-world career paths
- Provide positive female role models

– Work in small teams with other high school girls
– Learn how to approach real-world challenges
– Explore topics like safety, sustainability, and inclusion
– Practice teamwork, problem-solving, and public speaking
– Present their ideas in a supportive, encouraging setting
Girls leave with more than just an idea. They leave with confidence, new skills, and a stronger sense of what’s possible for their future.
Why Careers in Construction & Engineering?
Construction, engineering, and the skilled trades shape the world around us but women are still underrepresented in these fields.
Hack the Jobsite gives girls the opportunity to:
